IN PLAIN ENGLISH
A deep dive modal that expands a holding into panels that fit what it is. A share gets valuation, dividend, financials and performance panels; an ETF or fund gets fund facts, what it holds, returns and distributions; a coin gets its supply and trading figures; an index, currency or future gets its price, a description and the price chart.
WHY IT HELPS
Gives full context for each holding so you can judge risk, value, and income in one place, without company figures that don't apply to a fund or a coin.
HOW IT'S CALCULATED
Weight is holding value divided by portfolio value. Dividend yield on cost uses the last twelve months of dividends divided by cost. Gross profit is revenue minus cost of sales. Charts plot historical dividend (or distribution) and price series. What a holding is comes from its data provider's instrument type; a fund's asset mix and sectors come from its look-through, its payment frequency from the median gap between its latest payments, a coin's supply issued is circulating ÷ maximum supply, and its distance from the all-time high is price ÷ all-time high − 1. Everything else in the fund and coin panels is the provider's own figure, and anything it doesn't have is left out.
