GLOSSARY

Total Liabilities

Portfolio Metrics

IN PLAIN ENGLISH

Everything you owe that you've told the app about.

FULL DEFINITION

The sum of the debts you have recorded — mortgages, loans, credit cards and similar.

EXAMPLE

A £180,000 mortgage and a £1,200 credit card balance. Total Liabilities = £181,200.

HOW IT'S CALCULATED

Total Liabilities = sum of the balances you entered on the Portfolio page — debts and loans, plus any mortgage you recorded against a property — taken at face value in your portfolio currency. They are not read from your bank, so they only change when you update them.
