A portfolio review has two halves, and most people only do the first. The first is shape — is what you own still what you meant to own? The second is durability — can the things paying you keep paying you? This release adds a widget for each, plus one that shows where your return actually came from.
All three live on the dashboard and can be added from the widget palette. Sector Performance is available on every tier; Rebalancing and Dividend Safety are Investor and above.
Rebalancing
Set your target sector mix once in the Diversification widget and this reports a drift score — the share of the portfolio that would have to change hands to sit exactly on target. Each gap becomes an amount rather than a percentage point: a sector 12pp overweight is abstract, "trim £318" is a decision. The amount is split across that sector's holdings in proportion to their size, so trimming keeps the mix inside the sector intact rather than emptying your largest position. A tolerance band (default ±3pp) keeps it quiet about gaps too small to be worth a trade.
Dividend Safety
Scores each dividend payer out of ten on its payout ratio, dividend cover, whether its yield is unusually high, and whether the per-share dividend has been rising, flat or cut. Two details matter for trusting the number: it reads per-share dividend history rather than the totals you received, so your own buying and selling never registers as a company cutting its dividend; and a factor with no data is dropped from both the score and the maximum instead of scoring zero, with the row showing how much data was available. The headline figure is income at risk — how much of your forecast annual income sits in the weakest holdings.
Sector Performance
Value-weighted return per sector or currency over 1D, 1M or 1Y, with each group's contribution to the whole-portfolio return. The weighting is the point: a 40% move in a £200 position and a 3% move in a £20,000 one look very different in a list of percentages and very similar in your account. Contributions add up to the portfolio return, so the parts genuinely explain the whole. Free on every tier.
