Two dashboard widgets make up the calendar. Month View puts each holding's events on a month grid: its next ex-dividend date, a payment date where the data feed has one, results days and recent news. A Bar Chart set to Estimated dividends turns the next twelve months into one bar per month, stacked by holding — your projected annual income, month by month, with its total underneath.

Read each date with its label. An ex-dividend date is the company's declared cut-off; an “Estimated Ex Dividend Date” is the app's guess from last year's timing, shown until the next one is declared. A payment date is rarer: the data feed has one only for US listings, and only until the ex-date passes. Everywhere else Estimated Dividends uses an estimated payment date: 30 days after the ex-date for London listings, 15 for US ones, and the ex-date itself for other markets.

Declared dates come from the company. Estimated ones come from last year and a typical gap.

DO IT IN THE APP

0 of 5 done
  1. On your dashboard, open ADD A WIDGET and add Month View and Bar Chart. In the Bar Chart's ⚙ settings, pick Estimated dividends under Data flowing in. Open your dashboard →
  2. In Month View's ⚙ settings, choose which Event Filters to show: Ex Div, Paid Div, Earnings, News.
  3. Read the next month's events. “Estimated” in an event's name means the app worked the date out from last year.
  4. In the Bar Chart, see which holdings make up next month's bar, and note the Total.
  5. Check one estimated payment against the company's own announcement, so you know how far to trust the rest.

Where a payment lands

The app's rule for placing a payment when the company's date isn't in the data feed.

September 2026

GSK.L is a London listing, so the app places the payment 30 days after the ex-date: 12 September 2026, in the September 2026 bar.

  • The data feed carries no payment date for this listing, so this is always an estimate. The company's results announcement has the real one.
  • Thirty days is the typical London gap, not a rule: some large companies pay closer to two months after the ex-date.
